The Southeast Review, established in 1979 as Sundog, is a national literary magazine housed in the English department at Florida State University. Edited and managed by its graduate students along with a faculty consulting editor, the mission of The Southeast Review is to present both emerging writers and professionals on the same platform. In each bi-annual issue, they publish literary fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, interviews, book reviews and art. With nearly sixty members on the editorial staff coming from around the country and all over the world, The Southeast Review strives to publish work that is representative of diverse interests and aesthetics, celebrating the exciting blend this produces.
